In order to generate income for leprosy affected people living in Seliampetty Leprosy Rehabilitation Center, financial assistance has been provided to three families, who earn their income by supplying milk to the Co-operative milk society. They repay their money in regular instalments.
Future plans are there to provide more cows to families as well as goats. This seems to be a better way of encouraging them to stop begging.
