Providing small amount of loans to women who start or run their own business, has brought support and joy into their families. This project started in February 2008. Loans were given to the first group of 15 members, all members of this group are leprosy affected. Again the second group consists of 15 members and the third group which was recently started has 18 members.
These women involve themselves in selling dry fish, bangles, sarees, runing a grocery shop, an iddly shop, and many other small businesses. Most of the husbands of these ladies are alcoholic and they gamble.
